5 Marchesa Looks Inspired by the Night Court

Hi everyone!
As many of you know, Sarah J Maas announced the title of ACOTAR #2 a while ago. Since I absolutely cannot wait for the release of A Court of Mist and Fury, I have been trying to occupy myself with reading Feysand fanfiction, imagining the amazing gowns Feyre will wear in book 2, and looking through Sarah’s pinterest. Today, I was inspired to take some of the images she’s pinned and pull together a couple of looks using some beautiful Marchesa gowns. I hope you guys enjoy them, and let me know what you think in the comments!

Shatter Me Inspired Nail-Art

Here’s an ombré nail-art look inspired by the cover of Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi (otherwise known as the first book of one of my favorite series ever)!

White polish

Medium blue polish

Dark blue polish

Clear top coat

Sponge with small pores

Nail polish remover

Step 1: Paint entire nail with two coats of white polish.

Step 2: Using your two shades of blue polish and the same white you used in step one, paint the sponge with three stripes (one of each color), making sure to go from darkest to lightest and to blend between the stripes in order to create the ombré effect.

Step 3: While the sponge is still wet from the polish, begin dabbing the colors onto your nails. Be sure to keep the colors aligned on the nail (as in, not moving the sponge laterally) in order to prevent the colors from overlapping one another.

Step 4: Dip a Q-tip in nail polish remover, and clean the excess polish off your nails.

Step 5: Paint a clear top coat onto your nails.

And that’s it! Be sure to give your nails adequate time to dry as to prevent smudging 🙂

4 Outfits Inspired by The Glass Arrow

Thanks to Eden for requesting this post 🙂

These outfits were all inspired by The Glass Arrow by Kristen Simmons. I haven’t read the book yet, so I drew my inspiration from the mountain setting of the book, as well as the colors of the cover and the teasers that Kristen released to her readers.

The Glass Arrow is available for pre-order now, and will be released on Feb. 10th.

Outfits Inspired by The Grisha Series

Here are 4 outfits inspired by the characters of The Grisha series by Leigh Bardugo. And yes, I am aware that Mal is missing from this post, but I’m still bitter about the ending of Ruin and Rising so I refuse to acknowledge the fact that he even exists. For all you Mal lovers out there: *sticks out tongue*.

Outfits Inspired by Shatter Me

Imagine this: It’s February and HarperCollins is hosting a super fancy party in honor of the one year anniversary of Ignite Me, the last book in the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. Juliette, Warner, and co. have all been invited to attend. Juliette is excited and looking forward to the event, but there’s just one problem: she and Warner are too busy to spend time planning outfits so…what will she wear?  Lucky for her, I was willing to play Warner for the day and create a few outfits for her to choose from. For inspiration I turned to the beautiful covers of the series. And yes, I’m aware that Juliette is not a fan of heels or dresses, but she’ll just have to suck it up for this one night.  (Note: all of these looks were created on Polyvore).
